Privacy Policy

The short version

The Launch Monitor is a static, editorial spec database. We do not run user accounts, do not ask you to log in, and do not collect names, emails, or payment details. We have no database of visitors. The sections below explain the limited, indirect data handling that still applies to any website on the internet.

Information we collect directly

None. There are no contact forms, sign-ups, or comment fields on this site. We do not set our own tracking cookies.

Information collected by third parties

Some data is handled by services we rely on to host the site and to power affiliate links:

• Hosting (Netlify). Our host records standard server access logs — IP address, browser type, and pages requested — to deliver the site and guard against abuse. See Netlify's privacy policy for details.
• Affiliate partners. When you click a “buy” or “check price” link, the destination retailer (for example Amazon, SkyTrak, FlightScope, Bushnell, Foresight, Uneekor, or their affiliate networks) may set a cookie to attribute a resulting purchase to us. That activity is governed by the destination site's own privacy policy, not ours. We never see your purchase details — only an aggregate count of referred sales.

Affiliate relationships

We earn commissions on some outbound links. This never affects our specs, rankings, or verdicts. Full details are on our affiliate disclosure page.

Your choices

You can block or clear cookies in your browser settings at any time; the site works the same without them. Because we hold no personal data about you, there is nothing for us to export or delete on request — though you can still contact us with any privacy question.

Children

This site is intended for a general adult audience and is not directed to children under 13.

Changes

We may update this policy as the site evolves (for example, if we add a newsletter). The “last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
